The Magic of Imagination

Philippa Pearce
ON TOUR SEPTEMBER 2010 TO DECEMBER 2010

It is with great pleasure that Image Musical Theatre is able to offer this wonderful story to schools and theatre's in the Autumn of 2010.

Phllippa Pearce's wonderful story of a boy's encounter with the past has become a modern classic. It tells of the intersection of two people's time, Tom's time in the 1950's and Hatty's time of 1895. Both are children in need of companionship and both play in the garden. Their experience challenges our accepted concept of lineal time and gives us a fasinating and magical experience.

With beautiful period costumes, an ingenious set and wonderful music from Robert Hyman this production will continue Image Musical Theatre's tradition of providing the very best touring productions for theatres and primary schools.

Rehearsal 30 mins. - Interval - Performance 1 hour.

Clive King

ON TOUR MARCH 2011 TO JULY 2011

Said by the author to be the best adaptation of his novel, this wonderful production will be another moving and stimulating experience of high quality musical theatre for both children and adults.

Clive King's wonderful story of Barney and his Neolithic friend Stig has been a firm favourite with children and adults since it was first published in the early sixties. Barney and Stig's many adventures in and around the chalk pit, near his grandfather's house, culminate in a fasinating journey back in time to the days when there were only Stigs and stone circles.

With beautiful costumes, an ingenious set and wonderful music from Robert Hyman this production will continue Image Musical Theatre's tradition of providing the very best touring productions for theatres and primary schools.
