DAVID HERZOG - The Sheriff of Nottingham / Little John

David is from Springfield, Ohio. He traveled all the way to the UK back in 2007 to attend the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts where he obtained his Masters in Acting.

Credits include playing “Cat” in Peter and the Wolf (Merry-Go- Round Youth Theatre, Auburn, New York), “Mr.Bingley” in The Happy Circus (MGR), and “The Whale” in Just So Stories (MGR). “Ladislav Sipos” in She Loves Me (Landor Theatre, London), “Mr. Myers” in Fame (Gordon Craig Theatre), “Dick/Tinsworthy” in 9 to 5: The Musical (Fingers Lakes Musical Theatre Festival), and “George M. Cohan” inGeorge M. Cohan Tonight! (Charing Cross Theatre, London).

David is excited to return to Image Musical Theatre, having performed on two separate occasions in their production of 'The Jungle Book'; the first time back in 2010 in the roles of “Baloo” and “Akela,” and once again in 2016 as “Shere Khan” and “Bagheera.” .

THE WIND IN THE WILLOWS - February to July 2018

BEN GAVAN- Toad, Chief Stoat, Badger

Ben Gavan graduated from Performance Preparation Academy (PPA) in 2017, with a distinction in 'Theatre, Film and TV Acting'.

Credits whilst training from 2016-2017 include Leo Tyler in 'Game Plan', 'Cyrano De Bergerac' as the title role and ensemble in the Gilbert and Sullivan's' 'Pirates of Penzance'.

In the Summer, he toured with Tag Talent Company staring as Charlie Wild the explorer in the production 'Jungle Adventure'. It was theatre education job which had real live animals including Pythons, Bearded Dragons, Tarantulas and Meerkats toured around the Haven Holiday Venues in Yorkshire.

This Christmas, he starred as the villainous Abanarzar and the loveable all powerful Genie touring around schools in the Midlands on Hurricane Production's Pantomime 'Aladdin'.

Ben is very much looking forward to be involved in Image Theatre's production of "The Wind in the Willows", and he is thankful to be given the opportunity to star as the famous Mr. Toad, the wise Badger and the nasty Stoat in this years production of the tale!

LIZZIE DEWAR - Mole

Lizzie recently graduated from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama on the Acting, Musical Theatre course. Whilst in training Lizzie was fortunate enough to win the prestigious ‘Fergal O’Mahoney’ award in singing.

Credits whilst in training: Rebecca Nurse in ‘The Crucible’, Elizaveta Grushinskaya in ‘Grand Hotel, The Musical’, Old Lady in ‘Sunday in the Park with George’ and Viola in ‘Twelfth Night’.

Other credits include: Snow Queen in ‘The Snow Queen’ with Quantum Theatre and Kim in ‘Last Orders’ with Solomon Theatre.

Lizzie is very excited to be joining the Image Theatre UK team!

JAMIE JOSEPH CARTER - Ratty / Chief Weasel

Jamie is an actor who has been performing across multiple productions and tours since 2016, his training both at college and, university has been in live theatre but after graduating from New York Film Academy his work in Film is growing and has recently been taken further with the National Youth Film Academy.

He is a trained Baritone, with training in both Ballet and Jazz and he has honed his skills in realism through a recent tour of That Face by Polly Stenham.

After working in children’s theatre with Mike Akers ‘Lost Present’ in December 2017 he is fully immersing himself in the magic of children’s theatre which he shares a huge passion and enjoyment for. He is very excited to be playing the role of Ratty in the classic tale that is 'The Wind In The Willows'.
